Born in Tokyo in 1967. Currently living in Izu. TYG / tokyo-yoga.com co.,ltd. director. Previous jobs included managing a reggae club, broadcastwriter as well as TV commercial production. After taking a break and spending a period of traveling abroad, he set up tokyo-yoga.com (now TYG /tokyo-yoga.com co., ltd.) in 2002. It was formated as a blog style homepage to introduce the concept of yoga as something you can practice in your everyday life which was a new way of presenting yoga to people in Japan atthat time.

He started his own yoga studio in Aoyama which included an online business specializing in yoga related products. In 2003 the studio moved to its current location in Shibuya. Due to the demand created from the tokyo studio he travels around Japan giving workshops and seminars.

He practices ashtanga yoga which is a traditional form suitable for everybody and continues his research of this form by paying regular visit to Mysore in India.

As an instructor, he studies anatomy from Akihiro Hirayama, craniosacral biodynamics from Hiromi Morikawa and various kinds of body works. He then incorporates those teachings into his classes at yoga studio practice inTokyo and osaka as well as during the workshops and retreats he teachesacross the rest of the country.

As a director, he manages the yoga studio practice and publishes a freepaper YOGAYOMU. Utilizing his previous media experience, he supervises theproduction of yoga related content.
