Master Class in Dharma IV (Intermediate, Advanced & Teachers)

This special class with a master is for Intermediate and Advanced students and Teachers. The practice is Dharma IV of Sri Dharma Mittra’s Shiva Namaskara Vinyasa series. Dharma Yoga Teachers, apprentice teachers, and students, as well as, teachers of all backgrounds from around the world commonly take this class. Be ready for an amazingly graceful yet extremely challenging practice steeped in 50 years of Dharmaji’s experience. He is the creator of over 300 advanced asana variations, and offers many of these unique and now popular poses of today in all his sessions. Introduction to Dharma Yoga Sadhana (Beginner through Intermediate)

We welcome all levels of students to this heartfelt session. Meet and greet Sri Yogi Dharma Mittra as he shares a lifetime of experience in these powerful yet subtle practices to help bring radiant health, fitness and Self-knowledge quickly to all students. Experience the challenging and physically absorbing Shiva Namaskara Vinyasa series created by Sri Dharma Mittra for Dharma I, II, III, IV, and V practices. It reintegrates the flow of prana through the spinal column and emanates deep into all areas of the physical, metabolic, intuitive, and bliss bodies. It promotes harmony within all these layers so a concentrated state of radiant health is achieved. You will be guided through a Dharma II –III class, with direction and corrections given to each student according to their capacity. It is recommended that students practice at their own pace, not push too much, and be at peace practicing either easier or more advance variations independently within the Shiva Namaskara Vinyasa and stationary meditative postures. Included in the session are classical breathing techniques, deep relaxation, Dharma Truth Lessons on practical and spiritual philosophical methodology, as well as varied discourses on karma, reincarnation, and yogic diet. Morning Meditation (All Levels)

Sri Dharma Mittra will reveal to you divine techniques that will prepare your mind for serious practice, and greatly strengthen the powers of concentration. Learn how to slow down your thoughts and draw your attention away from the noisy restless world and place it within, where the truth lies, and where the peace is. You will learn to experience profound and permanent bliss, and direct the self to higher states of consciousness. Instructions are partially telepathic in order to transfer spiritual or psychic knowledge that words cannot convey. Only an illumined instructor is capable of this.
The meditation class is beneficial in the following ways:
• removes stress of daily activities, calms the monkey mind, and promotes one-pointed concentration
• stimulates the pituitary and pineal glands for mental sharpness and clairvoyance

An invaluable cleansing and detox program that helps purify the mind, the gross physical body, and the subtle astral body of toxic impurities. Sri Dharma Mittra will bring to you ancient practices both physical and mental, as he elaborates on the laws of karma, the dietary laws of yoga, the yamas, and niyamas. The practice includes ancient breathing, sound breathing, chakra techniques, mantra japa, chanting, and meditation in order to:
• promote clarity leading to freedom (Vairagya)
• remove negative states of mind and activate positive thinking to help manifest your desires
• open the chakra centers and remove blocks to the flow of prana
• improve concentration
• purifiy the five koshas (sheaths) bringing health and integration of the body, mind and spirit.

The One Great Divine Whole and Complete Eternal Practices is Sri Dharma Mittra’s signature workshop. It will help students develop the confidence to surrender on and off the mat. Dharma III and IV practices at its core, it is a challenging, meditative, and unique sequence that involves complete movement of the spine in order to unleash the life force within it. It is recommended for intermediate through advanced practitioners. This amazing session begins with spiritual Purification discourses from the Master conveying the ancient teaching into our modern lives. ”Each posture is designed to bring a special state of consciousness,” says Dharma, a backbend and inversion expert and creator of many of the popular postures you will learn. This is physically and mentally challenging practice is invaluable and mystifying. You will be shown how to establish proper placement, alignment and the spiritual
intention of each pose. Sri Dharma will ignite one-pointedness of mind and steady determination that will have you doing poses you never thought you could. After the asana practice, a healing deep relaxation and a reflective meditation ensues. Included is a joyous Devotional Dharma Asana Satsang Jam. Personal attention and helpful hints are given throughout the session as well as direction toward the real true goal of Yoga.
Holy Satsang with Sri Dharma Mittra (All Levels)

Satsang is a traditional gathering in reverence with a wise teacher or Guru, in honor of the timeless knowledge and cosmic love that he bestows upon the students. Included in this service is group kirtan, or chanting, to help awaken the bhakti, or heartfelt devotion, group offerings to the teacher, holy discourses, and spiritual readings to bring spiritual salvation and understanding. The seeker can then clearly begin to clear his thoughts and lead a life toward self-perfection, divine perception and self-realization which is the goal of Yogic teachings.
